Amicorum Spectaculum 3CD

The Tomorrowland 2017 – Amicorum Spectaculum CD is the official compilation created around Tomorrowland Belgium's theatrical 2017 theme. Released on 21 July 2017, the collection consists of three CDs filled with mixed tracks and collaborations selected around some of the major artists appearing at Tomorrowland that year. The Belgian release was issued by CNR Music and carries EAN 5411530812271.

More than simply a CD compilation, this edition was designed as a souvenir of the Amicorum Spectaculum universe. As shown in the reference photographs, the three discs are housed inside an elaborate hardcover book-style package. Its dark purple and black exterior features the Amicorum Spectaculum artwork with circus performers, theatrical curtains and the Tomorrowland emblem, while gold-coloured detailing reinforces the vintage travelling-show aesthetic.

Inside, the presentation continues like an old circus programme or illustrated storybook. Aged-paper graphics, fictional advertisements, performers, costumes, travelling-show imagery and other Amicorum artwork appear throughout the pages. The three CDs themselves feature striking spiral designs in different colours and are integrated into the book. The photographs also show the phrase “Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever.”

Music

The three-disc compilation is divided into sections representing several of the artists associated with Tomorrowland 2017. Featured mixes include Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and Yves V vs. Regi.

Among the many tracks are Armin van Buuren's I Live For That Energy (ASOT 800 Anthem), My Symphony and The Train, alongside music from Gaia, Gareth Emery & Standerwick and Vini Vici. The Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike section includes Ready For Action, OPA with KSHMR and their remix of The Chainsmokers & Coldplay's Something Just Like This.

Elsewhere, the compilation features Lost Frequencies tracks including Reality and All Or Nothing, while the Martin Garrix selection includes collaborations with artists such as Dua Lipa, Brooks, Matisse & Sadko, Bebe Rexha and Troye Sivan. The third disc moves into selections from Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano before finishing with Yves V and Regi.
