Amicorum Spectaculum - Treasure Case 2017
A documented collectible connected with the Tomorrowland electronic music festival.
Amicorum Spectaculum
The 2017 Tomorrowland Treasure Case, themed around "Amicorum Spectaculum", built as a miniature theatre with a pop-up circus stage, a mechanical acrobat and hot-air balloon scene, a music-box mechanism, and Amicorum Spectaculum practical-info folders.
Description
Released for the 2017 edition of Tomorrowland Belgium (themed "Amicorum Spectaculum" — "the friends' spectacle"), this collector's Treasure Case is the premium package sent to Full Madness Pass holders. The deep midnight-blue box is decorated with gold-foil stars, moon, hot-air balloons and a Tomorrowland circus scene, and closes with a brass-style ornamental clasp. When the double doors swing open the case unfolds into a three-panel miniature theatre: a hand-illustrated proscenium framed by red velvet-look curtains reveals a layered paper-cut stage with the sun rising through clouds, drifting hot-air balloons and a suspended flying acrobat. A wind-up music mechanism plays the Amicorum Spectaculum theme while the acrobat and balloons move above the stage. A hidden drawer at the base holds the festival bracelet and two 'Amicorum Spectaculum – Practical Info' folders illustrated with the fortune-teller and other circus characters.
