The Arising of Life CD

Released alongside the 2013 edition of Tomorrowland Belgium, The Arising of Life is an official double-CD compilation capturing the electronic sound that defined one of Tomorrowland’s most memorable early editions. The 2013 festival took place under the theme “The Arising of Life”, and the artwork of this release carries that fantasy world throughout its packaging.

The compilation contains 41 tracks across two CDs, selected around the sound of Tomorrowland 2013. The first disc is compiled and mixed by Belgian Tomorrowland resident DJ Yves V, creating a continuous festival-style journey through many of the biggest dance records of the period. The second disc presents 15 tracks in their individual, unmixed versions.

Among the featured artists are Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, NERVO, W&W, Knife Party, Zedd, Alesso, Yves V and Blasterjaxx. Highlights include Martin Garrix’s Animals, Dimitri Vegas, Moguai & Like Mike’s Mammoth, Wakanda, Hardwell & Dyro’s Never Say Goodbye, W&W’s Thunder and Armin van Buuren’s This Is What It Feels Like (W&W Remix).
