The Secret Kingdom of Melodia - Treasure Case 2015

The Tomorrowland 2015 Treasure Case was created for the festival’s eleventh edition, themed “The Secret Kingdom of Melodia.” More than simply packaging for the festival bracelet, the case was designed as an introduction to the musical fantasy world awaiting the People of Tomorrow. Tomorrowland describes the 2015 edition as welcoming more than 180,000 visitors into the Secret Kingdom of Melodia.

The rectangular grey case features elaborate black, gold and purple artwork dominated by a lyre/harp motif and the name “Melodia.” An antique-style metal clasp secures the front. Inside, separate compartments hold the festival bracelet, a rolled parchment tied with a ribbon and the case’s distinctive mechanical music-box mechanism. Contemporary reports confirm that the mechanism could be wound with its accompanying key to play a melody.
