Writing History - Feather Quill & Ink Set 2015
A documented collectible connected with the Tomorrowland electronic music festival.
Ultra-rare Tomorrowland "Writing History" collector's set from Christmas 2015: black feather quill with ornate silver-tone handle, matching pen rest and a bottle of "Writing History" ink, presented in an antique-style gold-embossed box.
Description
The "Writing History" gift set was released as an exclusive Tomorrowland collector's piece around Christmas 2015, extending the "Melodia / Secret Kingdom" story from the 2015 festival. The set comprises a black feather-plume quill mounted on an ornate cast silver-tone handle terminating in a steel dip nib, a matching silver-tone pen rest on a wooden base, and a small glass ink bottle labelled "Writing History". Everything is presented in a rectangular hinged gift box with an aged parchment interior; the lid is printed with a gold-leaf illustration of a plume feather rising from a Tomorrowland-sigil ink drop, framed by baroque foliate scrollwork on a deep-brown embossed background. Only a small run was produced and it was not part of the regular retail catalogue, making it one of the scarcer Tomorrowland collector items.
